I can't speak for the lifespan of the bath lift, as I just received it. However, I can tell you that it appears to be very well constructed.

After spending nearly two months trying to figure out what to do, this bath lift was my first major purchase in the safety battle for my husband. He's got Alzheimer's and getting him to take a bath has always been a problem. Now it's on to other safety precautions!
