Overview
As with most traditional home medical alert systems, the Cellular Classic System from Mobile Help provides you safety and security with just the push of a button. The system comes complete with a base station and your choice two help buttons; a wrist button and/or a necklace pendant. Pushing the help button puts you in direct contact with a live agent via the base unit. Unlike other home medical alert systems, the Mobile Help base station does not need to connect to any phone line. Instead, they use cellular technology through AT&T to provide you with service. No cell phone is needed, and no cellular contracts are required.
Features
The help buttons included with this system are water resistant so can be worn in the shower or bath. They also offer an impressive 600 foot range from the base unit. This means you should be safe anywhere inside your home as well as outside in your yard. If you press the help button and are too far away from the base unit to communicate with the live operator, help will automatically be sent directly to you. The system requires no installation other than plugging to an electrical outlet and testing to ensure it works. The base station utilizes a backup battery system in case of a power outage and should last for approximately 30 hours.
Additional Information

HAVE NEVER NEEDED TO USE IT, BUT LOVE THE SERVICE
I bought this for my dad on fathers day. He has not coped well with his cancer diagnosis. Although he is sick he still enjoys getting out of the house. I worry about him on his own and this was one of the only places that offered service away from home.
IT DOSE WHAT IS OPPOSED TO
i started shoping for a medical alert when i was diagnosed with dementia. a fried of mind recomend this to me becase if you leave the house it goes with you. it works fine when im not at home but i wish it had more fetures at home that is where i spend alot of my time.
DISSATISFIED
I advised my elderly parents to use this system as it appeared to have a lot more than other systems on the market. Big problem, however, is that the one time they had a real emergency they did not receive a response. They activated the base station then when that didn't get a response they tried my mothers' bracelet and then my dad's necklace. 25 minutes after the real emergency when they were on their way to the hospital thanks to my mother calling 911, I received a call alerting me (as their contact) to the emergency. Several days later after the crisis was over I contacted customer service to try to find out why they did not receive a response. I was told that there was a malfunction on their base system. If that was the case, why didn't someone contact them or me to alert us to the fact that their system was not functioning properly? No such call was received. I cancelled immediately and would never recommend this product!
I'D PROBABLY CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE IF I COULD DO IT OVER AGAIN.
My mobile help medical alert serves its purpose, but if I had to do it all over again I would probably choose a different medical alert system. The GPS technology sold me, not many medical devices have this feature. But GPS does not do any good when the device fails and does not serve its sole purpose. I could have paid less money for a medical alert that makes sure their products work every month. Thankfully my situation was not serious, and since I had my cell phone I could call my daughter for help.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY
This is not worth the money. Services are not frequently tested and it did not work when I used it. There is no point paying for a service that does not work!
