First Street® Walk in Tubs Hot

I would never buy anything from this company because I do not like how pushy their sales people are! They would not work with me on the price much, and would not take no for an answer. Every time I would bring up the price of the tub and how it is out of my budget, he would once again try to convince me why I should spend money I dont have. The tubs seem to be good quality, but not worth the price they are asking for.

My mother had the misfortune to contract for a Jacuzzi/First Street walk-in tub installed by Beldon Home Solutions and the experience has been an unmitigated disaster. Beldon was given three opportunities to install the unit properly...e-ma ils and photos provided to Jacuzzi verified that the unit was still not installed according to manufacturer's specifications, but more importantly, Jacuzzi established that the unit never should have been recommended for her installation situation (the tub was going into a large, wheelchair accessible shower stall and the unit is not rated to be used as a shower at all). She is still trying to reach a settlement, after having hired an attorney, but Beldon has only offered her her deposit back and to come remove the tub, thereby leaving her with a gapping hole in her shower stall and she will be out thousands of dollars to restore the shower stall to its previously existing configuration. Beldon seems to feel that they have no responsibility in restoring her bathroom; I think, as a licensed installer of these units, they have a responsibility to know their product well enough to know 1.) how to install it properly and 2.) when it can't be used in a certain situation. There are also issues with the build of the tub itself. The front panel never fit flush with the front; as far as how it actually operates, I can't comment - it was never installed properly for my mother to try it out. If you are considering going with a FirstStreet Jacuzzi tub, buyer beware.
