WALKIN TUB
My experience with this item was the service it was very unprofessional the man was rude and lasted in my house less than five minutes for the interview to see if it would fit in my bathroom when I called the owner of the tubs he told me he's ever had problems with the service and this man was has been working with him for years but I will never recommend them to nobody not sure on the product but the way the man presented himself and the service and the product was unprofessional and very unsatisfied and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone it's a shame because this man is representing this product

Safe Step Walk-in Tub
We had this tub installed in December of 2013. NOT SATISIFIED AT ALL!!! This was ALOT of money for a tub that...if you fill it to the just over the top of the last jet,(where they tell you to fill it to get the benefit of all the jets) it spurts water over the side and onto the floor, you cannot get your shoulders and neck under the water unless you slide down and then it's uncomfortable being at that angle. We had the wider shelf like area in the back and the skinnier area under the shower by the faucets and thank goodness we did, this holds puddles of water that need to be sponged up after each shower. It is very loud, there is no way to hear music over the noise of the jets unless you have the speakers up very loud, and then of course the rest of the house has to listen as well. This tub is not worth the money at all, this is the worst mistake I have ever made. Please do lots of research before purchasing this tub and contact owners to get their real opinion. Also the salesmen that sold this tub to us, said he would contact us in a week or two to see how we liked it...we have not heard from him since we signed the paperwork and he left our house. If I could have one wish...I wish....they would come take it out!!!!
They came back the end of January 2014 and installed a motor that did eliminate the spurting water out over the sides of the tub when full. BUT this motor did not cure how loud it is (which I was told it would) it is still loud, so no playing music or else the whole house hears. We still have not received a call from anyone to see if we were any happier.

Pros & Cons
I Want It OUT of My House!
Installed March 2016. Leaking door discovered and reported less than a month later. Warranty service is impossible to contact. Numerous "contact"numbers which don't work. No follow up on issues, complaints -- 2 months now.
We are suing to have the tub removed, property & punitive damages.
Safe Step Tubs is a scam!

Pros & Cons
No follow up on anything.
very high pressure on my parents. Started at a price of over $20,000 then continued to discount after calls to the "home" office to $17,900 to $14,500 to ultimately $12,100 for the exact same model. Insulted my hard working Father about not trying to help his wife and constantly saying that if she were his wife he would do it, like that should mean something. ultimately lost the sale because when my mom said he's taken care of her for over 60 years he kept saying "not today he hasn't, not Today" After the 4th time of saying how he cant believe how callus my Dad is to my Mom's situation, She showed him the door. But not before the rep had a chance to say that the price goes back up to $20k when he steps out the door. Shame this company has to be represented in this way. I'm sure the top brass doesn't want it this way but that is who we got to deal with. They will purchase one but not through him

Distriminatory
I was excited to call and get a free quote that I was lead to believe to be over the phone. I was enlighten that the estimate would need to be done in home. Ok, I consented to let Safe step come into my home. They made a timely date to come into the home but Amy neglected to tell me that I needed my Husband to be in the home as they came simply to give me an estimate. When Deanna called and said they would meet with my husband and I, I kindly informed her that he would not be participating. She then informed me that both home owners needed to be present. " I am the home owner", I told her and, She said,"But you are married". I told her that I was the only home owner as I purchased my home before I got married and they did not want to hear that. I was told because I was married they could not come and give me an estimate. Not only are they discriminating against me but they were rude in trying to tell me multiple times that I and my Husband own my home. I suggested that I speek to a supervisor and I was refused saying that their was none available. The original lady that called me to set the appointment up called me back and I did not want to talk to her but I asked for a supervisor or a number of one where I can talk to them about the discriminatory treatment I received from Deanna. she said that there was not number that I could get and that I needed to call back on Monday to speak with somebody. I said ok and I bid her good day. I called back for the second time and asked for a supervisor and a young man by the name of Sean was further rude and told me that I m calling to much and that I was interrupting them doing business. I told him I simply wanted to know the name of the supervisor and he went on to tell me that he was gonna call the police on me because I was not calling to much. I asked him how many times do he think I called and he lied and he said he answered the phone for me at least 2 to 3 times. I did not call them they were calling me. To add they called me before 9 am which they were not suppose to do. I have all this on my smart phone I don't appreciate these people handling me like I am nothing and discriminating against me. the reason was told to me that my husband needed to be there so I can get some discount. I told them it was not necessary for a discount that I could pay for all my needs and they still would not give me what my money could pay for. I do not want to get product from them. I know that there is a company that will serve me well and I will call on tomorrow just to be heard. This company clearly need to learn the laws of the State of Texas and train their employees to be more costomer minded and at all cost friendly. I know in the State of Texas you can chose who you want to serve and that is fine but It better be because of a non discriminatory reason.
